Pokémon GO Update Notes, 3 Step Glitch Gone?

Pokémon GO has been submit for an update on the Android App Store, and the Alpha version of the app has been traced by in the Android app store. The most notable update is the fact that the 3 Step Glitch has been fixed. The solution? Getting rid of the Step system altogether.

Update is now available in the iOS App Store!

 

- Avatars can now be re-customized from the Trainer profile screen
- Adjusted battle move damage values for some Pokémon
- Refined certain Gym animations
- Improved memory issues
- Removed footprints of nearby Pokémon
- Modified battle damage calculation
- Various bug fixes during wild Pokémon encounter
- Updated Pokémon details screen
- Updated achievement medal images
- Fixed issues with displaying certain map features
- Minor text fixes

Additionally, it appears that the infamous 3-Footstep Glitch is gone, because footsteps are gone altogether:

At this point it's unconfirmed, however it can be assumed, that these updates will take place within the iOS Version of the app.

Catching pokemon is now different too. Niantic changed the animations in the beginning of the encounter (RIP the technique of throwing the ball as early as possible)
